Why we created Friction to Flow

Back in 2012, we were young and ambitious Muslim entrepreneurs. We had the dreams of building the next great digital startup, we prayed, worked hard, and did everything by the book. Yet, our business didn't reach the level we had aspired for. 

• What were we doing wrong?
• What were we missing?
• Why is our hard work and du'a not yielding results?

These were the questions running though our mind. We were deeply discouraged, because we were always told: be good Muslims, work hard, pray and you will succeed. So where was the lie?

The problem wasn't that we didn't reach the success that we wanted, it was that it was a drag. Everything felt forced and heavy.

So what did we do?

Well, we were had zero Islamic resources that understood our ambitions so we turned to secular self-improvement programs and that's where we discoved "manifestation" and "the law of attraction"

Yes, we know, a lot of the "law of attraction" sounds woo-woo (and it is) but fundamentally, it's just what Muslims call du'a -- yet these non-Muslims explain how du'a works better than any Muslim resource did! 

This lead us to Visionaire by the late Shaykh Muhammad Alshareef (may Allah have mercy on him). We took everything we learned and created Friction to Flow: a course that helps you pursue your big ambitious goals while brining back the joy, flow, and ease of leaning on Allah to get there!
